MARCO BOLOGNESI

Founder of Bomar Studio

Director and Producer

Marco Bolognesi is the founder of Bomar Studio. Artist of contemporary art, he is also a director of experimental cinema and adult animation films. He has won numerous awards for his photographic work and films, including the prestigious Artist in Residence Award at the Italian Cultural Institute London, the Best sci-fi Award at The Indie Short Film Competition and participation to the prestigious Clermont- Ferrand International Short Film Festival. He published Protocollo (Einaudi, 2009), a cyberpunk graphic novel in collaboration with Carlo Lucarelli and the monography Sendai City (NFC, 2014) with curator Valerio Dehò. He participated in several international film festivals and exhibited extensively worldwide in museums, foundations, arts biennales and commercial art galleries. Some of his works are part of prominent public collections including the Collezione Farnesina and the Oscar Niemeyer Museum.


STEFANIA LOPPO

Administrative assistant

A multifaceted personality in terms of work, with skills as flexible as her education. From her classical high school studies she moved on to foreign languages ​​and a degree in Live Performance Disciplines. The next step was a long training, first “on the field” then enhanced by specialization courses in administration and accounting. In the background, omnipresent, there is a passion for writing articles, reading and the world of the arts in general.


MONICA PIAZZA
2D Animator and Director’s Assistant

 

Monica Piazza is an Italian animator, born in Erice, Sicily. Her passion for animated films began at the age of 8, when she saw, for the first time, “Spirited Away” by Hayao Miyazaki, which inspired her to pursue a career in animation. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and Bologna, studying graphics, both in high school and in Florence, and sculpture in Bologna. Now she is a novice animator, with a versatile talent that also expresses itself through her subjects of study.


MARCO STINCO
2D Animator

 

Marco Stinco was born in Erice in 1991 and raised in Trapani. After completing his studies at the Classical High School, he developed, over time, a strong interest in art and creativity. As a self-taught artist, he approached the world of animation, which has always fascinated him. Since 2023, Marco has been working as an assistant animator at Bomar Studio, where he can finally combine his passion with the professional world. Always looking for new creative challenges, Marco dreams of growing further and leaving his mark in the world of animation.

MRS. PAULINE MAZENOD
Head of Film Acquisitions & Sales at WINDROSE

Founder & CEO of Windrose, specialized in the international distribution of documentaries, animation series, fiction series and performances, she is its Head of Film Acquisitions & Sales. She lives between Paris, France where Windrose has its head office and Fürth, Bavaria, Germany. Windrose has been distributing outstanding films for TV, VOD, airplane companies & educational institutions all over the world for more than 15 years. Its catalogue is composed of entertaining, artistic and inspiring films that aim to change the viewer’s life and help to make our world a better place.


DANIELE CIPRì
Director, screenwriter, cinematographer

Daniele Ciprì is an Italian director, screenwriter and cinematographer.

He began collaborating as an author on some television programs, that quickly became cult (Blob, Fuori orario). His film debut came in 1995 with Lo zio di Brooklyn, which was followed by Totò che visse due volte (1998); Il ritorno di Cagliostro (2003); Come inguaiammo il cinema italiano – La vera storia di Franco e Ciccio (2005); È stato il figlio (2012), with which he won the award for photography at the 69th Venice Film Festival; La buca (2014).

In 2016 he was the author of the cinematography for Davide Vigore’s short film La Viaggiatrice presented at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.


RICCARDO NANNI
Composer, musician and sound designer

Musician, composer, arranger and sound engineer, Riccardo Nanni after his classical studies and his diploma in piano at the GB Martini Conservatory in Bologna, he began working in recording studios where he composes and produces music for films, documentaries, animation films, TV series and theatre.

He wrote and produced the international hit Mueve la Colita, included in the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning film La Grande Bellezza by Paolo Sorrentino.


SAVINO CICORIA
Accountant

My origins are in Puglia, a seaside town, and after studying in Rome, I chose to live in Bologna.

As part of my work as an accountant, I deal with companies in various fields, in particular, in the film industry.

In my free time, I cultivate my passions for food and wine, swing and motorbikes.


ROMAN TESTONI
Art director, showrunner, animator, modeller.

Roman Testoni after his academic studies and a degree in sculpture in Bologna, started working in animation studios where he still collaborates in the production of animated series, animated and VFX films, commercials and videogames.

For 25 years in the field of three- and two- dimensional, analogue and digital animation, he now manages the production and creativity of an international animated television series and teaches in several public and private animation schools.


MARZIO FACHIN
Copyright lawyer

Born in Turin on 19/01/1978, he graduated in Law at the University of Turin, with a thesis in criminal procedure, and subsequently carried out his legal practice in both civil and criminal matters.

Also in Rome, at the end of his legal practice, he attended a film school in Cinecittà for a year.

After passing the exam to qualify as a lawyer before the Court of Appeal of Turin, he began to practice the profession independently, combining it with an intense study of specific subjects such as industrial law and copyright. In particular, in addition to several specialization courses, he carried out a one-year research project, funded by an EU research grant, on the topic of “Innovative solutions for the management and valorization of intellectual property rights generated in research projects funded by the European Union”.
In 2015 he helped found the 4K Association, based in Turin, which carries out cultural planning and production activities in the image sector, namely photography, video, cinema and visual arts in general.
